HIGHLIGHTS

RAS Volleyball Achievements 2018:

  • Open Girls finished 5th in Queensland, Honours Division
  • District Premiers: Yr. 10 Boys & Open Girls
  • Metropolitan Quarter Finalists
  • All age groups competed in Volleyball Queensland Schools Cup (VQSC)
  • Open Boys finished 3rd in division two at VQSC
  • Gr 8 Boys finished 2nd in division two at VQSC
  • Open Girls travelled to Melbourne for Australian Volleyball Schools Cup.
  • Rochedale Academy of Sport Camp (Yr. 8, 9 & 10)
  • Friendly matches during camp against Benowa State High School

RAS Touch Football Achievements 2018:

  • One National representative – student
  • One Queensland representatives
  • Three Metropolitan East Representatives
  • 12 South District Representatives
  • Metro Finalists – Year 7 boys – runners up
  • District winners – Year 7 boys
  • District Finalists – year 10 boys,   Year 7 girls , Year 9 girls, Open girls
  • STL – finished 8th out of 14 in the School's Touch League Competition
  • 13 and 15 Girls finished top 16 – Queensland All Schools
  • Open Mixed – winners of Brisbane All Schools Competition
  • Open Mixed – top eight in the Queensland All Schools
  • Open Mixed – premiers of the Mixed B competition at BMTA
  • Junior Girls – premiers of the Open B competition at BMTA
  • David Crase and Leeanne Bauer – coach and manager of the undefeated Queensland 15 Girls Secondary Schools touch team at the Nationals in Hobart
  • Two National Representatives – Staff - Leeanne Bauer and David Crase – Members of the Youth World Cup team
